An embittered witch, who had cursed a baker and his wife with barrenness, relents to their pleas for a child, and tells them that their only hope to reverse the curse is to enter the woods in search of four very particular items. “The cow as white as milk, The cape as red as blood, The hair as yellow as corn, The slipper as pure as gold." On their quest, the baker and his wife encounter, Jack, Little Red Ridinghood, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and a host of other fairy tale characters. All of whom have gone to the woods in pursuit of their own wishes and desires. Exciting and perilous, the woods prove to be much more than any of them bargained for.
